SHARING THE WINNERS POT OF GOLD

There are two pots to add up at the end of the game – The first pot is your STARTING POT OF GOLD – This is the initial amount of money placed into your game pot of gold by all the players in the game

The second pot is the amount of money your players have added to the pot of gold during the game play – by landing on the POG board squares

Once you have added up the total pot of gold at the end of the game – you need to split the total in the following way:

As a home party plan business the home game group organizer will receive 15% of their group pot of gold for each game that they organize

After this amount is paid – the remaining money is split between the winners of the game – depending on how many winners you have decided to have – THIS SHOULD ALSO BE DECIDED BEFORE YOU START THE GAME – and should be part of the game information used to advertise the game along with the expected total POG achieved by the end of the game – Advertising this information will help to attract players for your game

WHILE ON THE SUBJECT OF ADVERTISING – you will also need to state the level of experience players are required to have – for example “NEW PLAYERS” OR PLAYERS WITH 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE – TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE OR OTHER CATEGORY This helps the players to be on the same level of understanding and experience level – making the game fair for all the players

POTS OF GOLD BOARD TILES – TO ACCUMULATE YOUR HOME PARTY POT OF GOLD – The pots of gold board tiles have suggested amounts ranging from £5 to £20 for the players to add to your game pot of gold when they land on them

THE LENGTH OF YOUR GAME – how long you decide to play the game is up to each home party group – If you are playing the game as a home group where you invite the players to your home – then we would suggest that each session played should not last more than 2 hours A good time to start is about 7pm until 9pm This should include a small beak for refreshments and a snack

when you finish playing online remember to save your game so that the game is still available after you log out of the GAME ROOM

STRATEGY OF THE GAME – We have left the strategy of the game open to each individual player by allowing each character to roll the dice and move their character card (THIS IS YOUR FREIGHTER BOARD TILE) in any direction they choose on the board – In this way you can go to any of the tiles on the board to collect the cards you want from the card sets available

KEEPING RECORDS OF YOUR GAMES – it is important that you keep a record of each game you play – the cards collected by each player – the pot of gold total and other game information that you may need to refer back to at the start of another game session – if you play the game on a number of different occasions
