pre – home game party tips – 1

  1. If you are inviting players to your home to play the game – make sure they all know the time schedule for the evening and whether or not they are required to bring anything to the party
  2. make sure you have everyone’s e mail and contact details – so that you can let them know if there are any last minute changes
  3. If you are a home game group organizer – it’s really useful if you can put together a sheet of information that will help new players play the game
  4. Ask players how they re going to get to the party – If you can arrange lifts for those players who might be using public transport then this will be appreciated
  5. Prepare a RECORD SHEET – so that you can record important game information for the start of your next game session You may need to re set the player character cards to the positions they were left in at the end of the previous game Take a photo of the board layout (or a screen snap shot) so that there are no disputes about the positions of all the players
  6. Make sure you save the game before you exit the game – this will allow you to go back to the game once the game room is closed – Game time should not normally be more than 2 hours
  7. The strategy of the games are generally left fairly open so it is up to the individual players to work out how they are going to play the game Character cards can generally be moved in any direction on the board – and are moved after rolling the number dice
