Give the people you have contacted time to look at the web site to learn more about the game and send a follow up email asking them if they would like to join your group of game players
Also let them know that once they have learnt how to play the game – they can start their own home game group and introduce new players into their group
Let people you contact know that the BASIC GAME – THIEF NO1 IS A FREE GAME for registered members to play and that there are three registering options available
a) REGISTER FOR OUR SIX WEEKLY NEWSLETTER – FREE OF CHARGE – all we need is their e mail address b) REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL GROUP MEMBER (£2 PER MONTH) – this is for groups which have less than 10 players – once a group has ten or more registered players in the group – then the organizer of the group can register everyone in their group as a GROUP REGISTRATION (all members of the group should be registered for our e mail newsletter)
Once you have started your own home game group – you can work out an official NAME FOR YOUR GROUP AND CHOOSE A LOGO – we have some ready made logos which we can personalize with your group name This is FREE for registered home party groups – If you want to change your name or logo there is a small charge of £6 to do this
You should send us your game group details once you have this worked out and we will list this on our website for other home game group organizers to see – Your contact details will also be included so that people in your area who are interested in playing the game or in joining your group of players (they may not live locally) can contact you directly
Make sure everyone knows that the POT OF GOLD for each game played is REALLY MONEY or MONEY AND GIFTS – The starting pot of gold and the amount added to for each session of the game should be worked and agreed with all the players in advance of playing the game
Let players know how long the game will last and the TIME DATE AND NUMBER OF SESSIONS each week that will be played
It’s a good idea to make your own checklist of THINGS TO DO before each session starts online
Have an alternative plan for the evening (If you have invited players to your home to play the game) eg if your internet connection goes down
All players are required to log in on line to the game site at http://www.gamestructor.com (registration with the site should be done well in advance of the date of your online game)
We will need at least one weeks notice of the time and date you have set for your group to go online and play the game We will send you a link to the game 1 to 2 hours before your start time – If you have not received the link please contact us immediately Also when you get the link – test it out to make sure that it is working Players should be all logged in online ready for the game 10 minutes before the game is due to start
Make sure that players know that the game cannot start until all the players have logged in to the site and joined the game It is best if you have a few extra people who’s details you can use to log into the game – if someone is unable to get to your home game party on time or if they are playing from another computer some distance away and they have not logged in to the game on time
